One, Dos, Very new generation: The reason why Ingrid and Pedro are not back in the rest of the series
The return of “Un, Dos, Tres” without two emblematic figures
Noticeable absences of Ingrid and Pedro
While the W9 channel once again welcomes the famous Spanish series “Un, Dos, Tres” in an updated version for the year 2023, fans will be surprised not to find some familiar faces. Indeed, among the former members of the cast, Pablo Puyol and Silvia Marty, respectively Pedro and Ingrid in the original opus, will not join the adventure.
The new generation and the old glories
Despite the renewal driven by this series with the appearance of new talents at the Carmen Arranz school, the production ensured a certain continuity by reintroducing former students. Comedians such as Beatriz Luengo, Monica Cruz and Miguel Ángel Muñoz will reprise their iconic roles. The plot gives pride of place to Roberto, played by Miguel Ángel Muñoz, who returns to Madrid with the intention of creating a musical based on the former group UPA Dance.
The reasons for the absence of Pedro and Ingrid
Javier Pons from The Mediapro Studio spoke about these notable absences. Although a dialogue was initiated with Pablo Puyol, constraints prevented its incorporation into this new chapter of the series. The emphasis was placed on a coherent overall composition, involving delicate choices regarding distribution.
Rumors about tensions between the former actors and the production were dismissed by Javier Pons, who clarified the absence of problems or conflicts with the two artists concerned.
Nods to the past
Certain appearances of characters from yesteryear will be revealed to the public throughout this sequel. We note in particular the confirmed presence of the character of Carmen Arranz, guaranteeing moments of nostalgia for aficionados.
