Netflix, the streaming giant, recently introduced a fascinating product: a helmet inspired by the narrative universe of the science fiction series “The 3-Body Problem, from the trilogy by Liu Cixin.

In the series, recent events are influenced by a decision taken decades earlier in China. Scientists are racing to thwart an unprecedented global threat. In this whole, a unique reality headset plays a key role.

While it doesn’t offer escapades into alternate worlds as the show suggests, this headset offers fans the chance to further immerse themselves in this fictional universe.

The headset can be purchased on the Netflix website for a amount of 145 euros, and although the first series is sold out, those interested can put themselves on a waiting list for future distributions.

However, the helmet is above all a decorative object ! It doesn’t work like in the series!

Netflix is not its first foray into expanding its product offering linked to its original creations, recalling the previous launch of a recipe book inspired by its programming.

In conclusion, for those looking for a rich auditory and visual experience that complements the series experience, the question remains whether this new gadget will meet that expectation by revolutionizing the market or simply proving to be a collector’s item of more. Only time, and perhaps the acquisition of this headset, will tell.
