My experience with the Optoma projector
Are you looking for a projector to transform your living room into a real movie theater?
Today, I share my experience with the Optoma models, a brand often favored by enthusiasts of beautiful images.
A promising first contact
Ergonomics and installation
From the moment I opened the box, I was struck by the ergonomic design of the Optoma UHD35 projector.
The comfort of the lens shift and zoom simplifies installation, whether temporary or permanent.
Not only is it easy to set up, but it’s also pleasant to handle.
First Power-On
Filled with the excitement of first use, turning on the Optoma projector proved to be child’s play.
The menus are intuitive, offering a range of settings to customize the device to your liking.
Breathtaking details
Image Quality
With its surgical definition, the Optoma UHD35 model delivers stunning images. Whether for a gaming session in 4K or a movie in HDR, the visual quality is impressive.
The brightness of this device will delight those looking to discern every detail.
Silent yet powerful
What also impresses is the noise level. Unlike other projectors on the market, the near-absolute silence of the Optoma never disturbs your immersion, even during a suspenseful scene.
Just a few necessary adjustments
Points to watch
Although the Optoma has many qualities, the light frame can sometimes interfere with the image, requiring careful adjustment. Be sure to properly align your projector to optimize results.
Finding the perfect angle
The trick often lies in the subtle positioning of the projector. This is where the vertical lens shift becomes crucial. You will need to pay attention to align your setup correctly, especially if you are using a large screen.
Have you tried a projector from the Optoma brand? I would love to hear your impressions in the comments below. And for those who are still hesitating, know that other models from competing brands like Panasonic and LG may also meet your criteria. It’s your turn!

The world of home cinema has evolved significantly with the advent of high-tech projectors. In this spirit, I decided to share my experience with the Optoma projector, a well-known brand in the field.
What immediately attracted me to the Optoma UHD51 was the excellence of the image for its price range. I found myself immersed in a sea of details and vibrant colors. With the ability to make numerous adjustments, the image becomes a true living painting. Another advantage of this model is its silent operation, a noteworthy feature when one wishes to enjoy complete immersion.
Then, I had the opportunity to test the Optoma UHD35. Its brightness truly impressed me. Whether in SDR or 4K HDR, it shines brilliantly on my Vividstorm Obsidian screen. I highly recommend this screen for an even more refined visual experience. The 4K of this projector is simply amazing, showcasing breathtaking details, especially in video games.
More recently, I have tried the Optoma UHD50x for 72 hours. Its massive screen size was a revelation. With a viewing distance between 2.5 and 3.5 m, the immersion is total. Installation is a breeze thanks to the comfort offered by the lens shift and zoom x1.3, which allow for great flexibility of use.
Finally, the Optoma UHZ65LV model confirmed my love for this brand. The image quality is stunning, with a definition that borders on perfection. However, a small drawback to note: only the vertical lens shift is available, which necessitates a strategic positioning of the projector to achieve the best viewing angle.
In summary, with these various models, the Optoma projector offers a good price/quality ratio and undeniable versatility. However, it is crucial to consider certain technical aspects to maximize the potential of your equipment.
