Sam Esmail, known for creating the hit series Mr. Robot, has embarked on the adaptation of the acclaimed dystopian novel by the writer Rumaan Alam, rewarded by the National Book Awards and offered in a French edition by Seuil.
This story narrates the anguish of a wealthy American family, on vacation on Long Island, whose stay is disrupted by the nighttime arrival of two strangers, G.H. and Ruth, claiming that the outside world is threatened by a cataclysmic computer attack. The film is carried by the acclaimed performances of Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke.
