Claudia Doumit, known for her role as Victoria Neuman in The Boys, first auditioned for a completely different character.

Before becoming the VP-elect and secret Supe we all know, Doumit had her sights set on another key role in the series.

It’s surprising but true: Claudia Doumit originally auditioned for the role of Ashley the publicist.

This character is ultimately played by the talented Colby Minifie, whose performance full ofimprovisation won the admiration of Doumit herself.

She learned a lot from observing Minifie on set, praising her ability to portray Ashley with such spontaneity and dynamism.

The path to Victoria Neuman

Despite his initial desire to play Ashley, Doumit did not get the role. However, the production had other plans for her.

After following and enjoying the first season of The Boys as just a fan, a new opportunity presents itself when she is invited to audition for the second season.

This time, it’s for the role of Victoria Neuman, a character who would become crucial for the series.

Claudia Doumit describes this audition as a pivotal moment in her career. She had never before auditioned for a series of which she was already a fan.

Even though Victoria Neuman’s character suffered a tragic fate at the end of season 4, Doumit remains extremely grateful for the experience.
