Angry farmers: A special program on M6 Sunday February 4!
Programming modified on M6 in the face of the agricultural protest
A new show in response to the agricultural crisis
Faced with the current tensions in the agricultural world, the M6 television channel is reorganizing its Sunday schedule to include a program dedicated to the critical situation facing farmers. As a result, fans of “Sport 6” and “E=M6” will see these programs postponed.
Sunday evening will be marked by the broadcast, at 8:05 p.m., following “Le 19.45”, of the special program entitled “Farmers, the crisis”. Hosted by host Karine Le Marchand, also known for her role in the show “Love is in the meadow”, this program will be broadcast both on M6 and on RTL according to a press release from M6 which emphasizes that the programs which follow will remain without modification.
Karine Le Marchand meeting farmers
Demonstrating her commitment to the agricultural sector, Karine Le Marchand got closer to farmers by heading towards a demonstration site on the A4, in Jossigny, around thirty kilometers from the capital. On this occasion, she chatted with them and offered them croissants, keeping an earlier promise.
Focus on the program “Farmers, the crisis”
Peasant unease is being heard across the country with mobilizations and road blockages. These demonstrations aim to seek the attention of the French government and European institutions to obtain substantial reforms. It is in this context that the M6 and RTL teams are collaborating to set up this special live broadcast.
During this program, Karine Le Marchand, assisted by journalists from M6 and RTL, will welcome actors from the agricultural world as well as personalities from the political sphere to discuss and explore possible solutions to this crisis. Here are some expected guests:
- Claire, breeder in the South-West
- Christophe Mazingarbe, endive producer
- Nicolas Chabanne, creator of the brand “Who’s the boss?!”
- Benoît Biteau, MEP and farmer
This special program aims to be a platform for exchange and a place of expression for the French agricultural sector, currently facing major challenges.
