The reboot of The Office series: a new lease of life for sitcoms
After numerous projects and rumors, it seems that the famous comedy series The Office is finally about to return with a reboot. In this article, we’ll explore the legacy of this cult series and what a return could mean for its early fans. Reminder of the American and French versions of The Office In 2005, Sharp-nosed director Greg Daniels launches the story of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with Steve Carell reprising the role of Ricky Gervais. Initially, the series, too respectful and close to the British version, received mixed reviews: it is simply a pale remake of The Office UK with barely touched-up valves.
